Meredith and I always go out after Christmas. Somehow, it's like a tradition XD Last holiday we wanted to go somewhere again. In the end, we just stayed in LA. Still it was very fun^^ We went to just the usual places. We talked and laughed so much too!! I'm glad that even though we live so far from each other...we don't have some sort of gap^^

So, I'm sharing some pics again!!
Taken last December 26 & 27 of the year 2009.






After about a year of not seeing each other.
We finally met around noon on the 26th XD
We we're both hungry so we figured we have to eat lunch first.
Since she lives near Korea Town we decided to have lunch there.
We just walked around and ate at a random place that appealed to us.
I can't remember the restaurants name.
I really love the half-cooked egg...I kinda want to eat some right now XD

After lunch we took the train to go to China Town.
We went there to eat meat buns XD
We figured that if we're eating meat buns...it has to be from China Town^^

Some China Town pics. I kinda forgot to take some because we had so much fun talking. The entire time we were on the train we listened to 2NE1!! A really funny incident happened to us but I can't share it because it's a secret between her and I. In the end we didn't get any meat buns...since it was still kinda early we decided to go to Little Tokyo and have dinner there^^





When we got to Little Tokyo we dropped by the Sakura Mall first because I wanted to get some cream-puffs and she wanted to check out one of the stores there that sell lots of cute stuff!! We ate some and I got so much of the powder on my blue coat. She said I eat like a kid XD




For dinner we tried out Suehiro Cafe. I had some beef terriyaki and pork katsu^^ We also had a scoop of rocky road ice cream for dessert. A lot of youngsters hang-out there. My bff and I sat on the counter and ate while chatting and watching funny arashi clips on my phone. We almost died cracking up when we watched an old episode old D no Arashi when they played Aiba's board game and Ohno had to sniff a really stinky shoe and he had a stocking on his head.

While we were enjoying our meal my phone suddenly went off and played "poririzumu" by perfume...really loudly XD the other people eating turned around to stare at me as I tried to make the darn thing stop. My bff was cracking up the entire time.

Moving on, we met again on the 27th. We didn't have much time cause she's heading to Norwalk around 5pm I think. We decided to meat up for lunch. Originally we wanted to go to the Beverly Center and shop but we ended up at "The Grove" I forgot to mention that she bought matching "mono-kuro-boo" shirts for us^^ We wore them that day XD














We decided to go to Gap and get scarves but they didn't have any XD They were having a sale at Victoria's Secret so we headed there and got undies XD She pointed out to me that one of the girls working there went to our HS too. She noticed because that person was staring at us or something. So I just told me bff...that's nice but I don't recognize her at all XD We spent a lot of time at Barnes & Nobles reading manga!!

We ended up buying lots of nuts from there XD

What we had for lunch. Lately I've been eating lots of pasta. I make some alfredo pasta in the morning and put bacon, sausages and hot chips on it XD The entire 2009 we were only able to see each other a day and a half XD Still it was good...it was really good^^ It's definitely much more laid back than what we used to do before...I told her that it must be because were getting older XD Anyway, she's back to college and I'm off to work. Most likely we won't meet again til late December XD I forgot to take pics of our presents and the stuff we bought.....oh well...



It's my new work phone!! My boss gave it to me for Christmas!!
My old one was an LG or was it Samsung...flip phone^^
My boss pays for it so I only use it to call.
I call so much people in a day though XD




Oh, and because someone asked me to share a pic of how my personal phone looks I'm sharing this pic. Is it surprising that I make phone wallies and yet my wallpaper is of roses?? Well, I switch wallies all the time XD I have quite a lot of charms on it. The charms are heavier than my phone. I always carry 2 phones with me. My personal one and my work one^^



I couldn't decide between the 2 images above so I ended up with the gif below XD It's for my partner in crime...Chii-chan of LJ & DA^^ This is so late already but anyway, I hope that you had a lovely time!! I took this one with my phone while waiting for the elevator.
I usually come home a bit late because I do so much overtime XD



The packing area at my work place!! It's a little freaky because sometimes there's a detached arm or leg lying on my table XD We don''t really deal with heads though. The only mannequins that have heads are our male ones. We ave a lot of different ones btw!! It was a little freaky before when I do overtime and the building is all quiet and I'm surrounded by all this stuff but now I'm perfectly alright with it. I shall take pics of the others....



He has pretty brown eyes and my boss loves him a whole lot!! On our emergency numbers list his vet's number is listed. He's a great dog and his people friendly. Oh but he makes a lot of noise when he hears fire trucks and stuff XD He threw up under my desk before XD He's also the reason why I'm always covered in dog hair. I'm just glad we have lint rollers and lots of packing tape :] Overall he's a great dog who loves cookies, sleeping and the dog park!!



I want to post the stuff we did so far but I can't because they're all...weird XD
It's for my sister so that she can do lab stuff at home :]
Oh, and for Aiba-chan...because I plan to kidnap him...

I drink so much coffee in a day. Before when I was working under ADT and DirecTV I usually drink around 9 cups or more but now I just drink around 5 cups or more. But that's because I still make some when I get home and I drink it before I go to bed too. For some unknown reason, coffee seems to have no effect on me when it comes to combating my sleepiness >________< Since I drink so much coffee I'm always bringing home sweet stuff to go with it.



My younger sister loves to cook. She made this for me last weekend I think. She also noticed that I don't eat much veggies so she cooked some that I do eat like potatoes and some broccoli. It doesn't look like it but the patties are huge. They're pretty thick XD Anyway, it was pretty good...



And here's some flan I made recently!! It was very yummy!! I should have taken a pic of it on a plate when it was all jiggly and cute...then I could have photoshopped a cute face on it^^ I'll make some mashed potatoes tomorrow!!









After work I went to Little Tokyo with my mom. I needed to buy a new thermal mug/cup because the one I was using cracked. We decided to have dinner first so we went to the Sakura Mall. i saw this on display at the second floor. Sorry for the blurry pics. My hand was pretty shaky that day XD I really love the sakura-lights they have on the ceiling...









I wanted to have some raw tuna with nattou and some hot sake at another restaurant I frequent but mom is not really fond of that stuff so we ended up at hana-chimonme again. The prices at this place are pretty good and the food is pretty good too^^ Right now I'm craving for some western food though...



I never leave Sakura Mall without his stuff. Yes, I love cream puffs a whole lot!! My fave are the chocolate filled ones. My mom loves the chocolate dipped ones. They close around 6pm though so when I get there it's always around the time that they're closing and putting the tables and chairs away XD Right now i want some pecan pie with a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side....or some creamy cheese cake!!

It's stuff my younger sister likes so I got some for her when mom and I did some grocery shopping at Nijiya. Which reminds me that we need to get a new tub of miso paste because the last one we got had so much sake flavor on it XD



Speaking of sake, I got some!! I don't really drink sake at home since I usually go to little tokyo anyway and drink there while having a meal but I figured it would be nice to have a few at home. The cute little one on the right is "umeshu" there's an umeboshi inside!!

and the place that sells takoyaki is across it ^^



We went to my aunts place recently to eat and just get together. We played some badminton too and grandma got really into it XD She was also damn good at it^^ Here's a pic of my cousin Russell while he was playing against grandma. His eyes are closed...he missed btw :]



My cousin Daniel and his friend Sid played too. They're both pretty good and Daniel did a lot nice moves. I have a pic of him floating in mid air with his bottom half missing *freaky!!* Sid's pose in the back looks kinda funny...he's a nice kid though :]



Grandma before she played *she said she didn't know how and that she'll be bad at it cause of her arthritis* and a pic of her after winning and making us eat dirt...well, more like grass!! She was actually pretty good at it. Check out the thumbnail pics below and see her in action!!

Food Pics!! Grandma cooked them!! Except for the chicken cause we got a couple boxes of Soy Garlic from "Bon Chon" They we're all pretty yummy but grandma's soup dish was the best!! I had two bowls of it^^ I wanted to take some home but when I looked at the pot it was empty^^ She cooked so much of it too^^

It doesn't really make sense because the bag is a "Jessica Simpson" label XD I was thinking of buying a purse at ALDO but I didn't like what they had but then I saw this bag at Macy's. I asked the saleslady which one I had to buy to get it and she said it's "Siren" so I asked her if it was fine if I got the GUESS one instead but she said that the bag is for all "Siren" purchases only. Anyway, it's currently lying on the couch. I'll use it soon!!



Went there to buy a bag but I ended up with 2 pairs of earrings.
They were having a 2 for 1 deal *yay!!*
I really like the flower one a lot. I'll probably wear it in the office.
As for the other one, I'll hold on to it and wear it on next years summer!!



I kinda regret buying this because the one I tried in the store and didn't buy smelled so nice and stayed on the entire night. So now I'm thinking of going back there and getting that one. Out of the four I really like "Very Sexy" (Red) also, it reminds me a bit of Sho-sama^^
