Hey guys, it's Jean!! most people online know me as "kwuintesence" or "eLiTe_Jean" Anyway, welcome to my blog!! Feel Free to browse around. (current lovely layout/skin is not mine! i'm too lazy to make my own! i did however move and switch stuff around!!)

Oh, I forgot...I'm suppose to tell you a bit more about myself. Well, for starters..im a crazy little (i'm only 5'1) girl in a seriously messed up but fun world. (I hope that made sense.) As for my current location, it's in Los Angeles, CA (but I would prefer "LaLaLand!!" from the figment of my imagination) I love to make graphics and read graphic novels!! I love watching movies, asian dramas and animes!! I also love to listen to some music while singing and dancing like an idiot (whether someone is looking or not!!) If I'm not at home you would most likely find me at Korea Town doing "purikura" or at Little Tokyo eating chocolate filled cream puff's at "beard papa's". I'm a HUGE shopping addict, i shop and shop until i have not a cent left on my being. I like to read fanfics on my free time. Lately I've been listening to tons of korean, japanese and taiwanese music. Also, I have a huge weakness for cute things!! I don't cook too often but I think I'm pretty decent at it, since no one has died eating the food I made...yet! I usually hang out in Korea Town (cause i live near there), Little Tokyo (they have so much interesting stuff there), China Town (because the food is cheap there), LA's Fashion District (because i work there). Most likely this blog will be a dump of sorts..from my graphics to ramblings. Anyhooot, that's about it. This thing is getting longer and longer. I'll take off for now my loves. waah!! i love this bag!! it's big and yellow.
I got it for $45.00 at Aldo.

i'm currently using the "pandapple" one as a camera case
the hello kitty head purse is currently my coin purse.
They are both soo cute!!

to those who don't know yet,
I like collecting stationery, letter sets, etc.

from left to right, the colors are
Orange Biscuit - my current hair color,
i'm going blonde sooon!! I bought this just in case
the blonde hair look doesn't look right or good on me or
when my roots start showing and stuff.
Gold Brown (Hard Bleach) - I'm using this soon!!
Milk Tea Brown - for my younger sister.

title: Office Ladies and Fax-y Things!!

It's another round of pic spamming!!
but that will be in a little later because
i have some ramblings in mind.
I guess it will be on the one after this then.
Last Wednesday I skipped work to take care of a couple things.
First was for new 3 bedroom apartment were interested in
and the second one is my mother's doctors appointment.

The lady who was working on our documents for the apartment
has me pissed off up to now...oh and my boss is too.
I thought someone had to be pretty smart to handle such a job,
the lady who was working there was a complete and total idiot.
My boss thought this too btw after he got in touch
with her and so did my office mates.
Today alone she had my boss and I fax the exact same
4 page document to her office 5 times because of stupid reasons.

1. the first time was because she needed it
to start processing the documents
(which my boss and i thought was logical so we faxed it ASAP)
2. She called us after 30 minutes to say that
she forgot to turn her fax machine on.
(so we faxed it again and thought it was over with and done..)
3. she calls again not too long after that and says that she
has no paper on her fax machine
because she forgot to put some.
(my boss thought this was pretty funny, he told her to just
hit the blinking resume button right after putting paper on her
fax machine or to just hit the OK/START button,
she tells him to just fax it again because she doesn't know how.)
4. She calls us after an hour and says that
she still doesn't have it and proceeds to tell us
that her fax machine says something like:
"you have documents waiting to be received,
please hit OK/START to proceed"
(so i got on the phone with her and told her to just hit the
(OK/START) button to receive her incoming fax,
she gets all rude and says
"are you sure about this?
YOU might break my fax-y thing, you know what i mean.."
what the hell was that all about??
she thought i'd break her fax machine..
oh and she doesn't know what it's called so she calls it "fax-y thing"
She also tells us at this point that she thinks it's best
to have her tech guy look at it because he knows better
and has worked there for over 5 years.)
5. Our office closes at 5pm, We receive a call from her
around 4:45pm and she tells us to go and fax it again
because her machine is functioning again.
While I was faxing it, my boss was
on the line with her. She told my boss that their tech guy
was so cool cause he just hit the OK button
and he got it working
(this was exactly what we told her to do earlier),
but then she called just around that time
because she got some documents jammed
after repeatedly pushing the OK button
herself because she thought that it would make
the documents come out faster.

When we got out of the elevator to head to the parking lot,
my amused boss just says
"i don't think she'll working there for a very long time"
and yes I completely agree with him on this.

I promised my grandmother that i'll head straight to her house
around 6pm to have dinner with them...I got there past 7:30pm.

my 2 younger cousins were there...Russell and Rachel.
I hauled a ton of stuff from "Sanrio" on my way there
and it was perfect timing too because Rachel was there.
I got her another Hello Kitty purse.
btw, she's my younger cousin and she is also my god-daughter.
She's so excited and eager for Halloween.
She's always gone as a Disney Princess.
This year her costume is Princess Aurora of Sleeping Beauty.
She was so eager to go and get her tiara so she can show me,
she tripped and fell on the parking lot...she broke her lip too.
The poor little thing!! She toyed with the scarf I was wearing
and in the end of the evening...she lectured me!!
"My mommy says this bag of nuts is good for you
because it's *oi-ry-ganic* (organic)"

title: "The Americana" at Brand

from Downtown LA,
i headed to my grandparents house at Glendale.
They live a few blocks away from the Galleria mall
and the newly opened "Americana" at Brand.

and because i went there, i am once again broke.
i swear, when it comes to shopping...i am out of control!!

The Americana is very much like the Grove btw!!
when i went there a couple days ago there wasn't that many people.
Whenever I go to the Americana or the Grove
I always watch the water fountain performance thing
and I love to ride the tram even though it's a less than 3 minute ride.

Anyway, here are the pix!!

it gives me a high of some sort...

I like watching the fountain display thing too.
The water shoots up into the air.
It's a performance of some sort...water and music,
whenever i wait for my table at the "cheesecake factory"
i either shop around, read at "barnes and nobles"
or watch the fountain!!

Hiya!! it's been awhile...

this first one I'm typing up right now
are pics of the area where i work.
I work in Downtown LA's Fashion District
112 W 9th Street Los Angeles, CA 90015

I just took pix of the building outside.
I'll take some office shots some other time.
anyway, i took the pics around 5pm
and i played around with my camera settings a bit.
I wanted an old kind of vintage feel to the pic,
i'm not sure if I did a great job but here are the pix!!
btw, i work at the LEFT building NOT the Anjac ones.
