it's official, we are moving this Easter morning!!
we were supposed to move last Tuesday, i even took a day off work
but with my job keeping me busy
and the easter holiday looming,
it was just not possible!!

btw, i also took a day off work a couple weeks back
to sign the lease and buy some furniture.

i was at my grandparent's house last Friday
(thanks for letting me borrow your power drill gramps,
i'll return it ASAP!! please visit our new place soon with grams!!)
and when i told them about the new furniture
they told me that it was not a very good thing to do.
with the current economy not doing so well
my grandparents felt that i had wasted money
they think that it's better for me to save it.
they also pointed out to me that our furnitures are still pretty new.
kind of true...i guess...
when we moved in about 3 years ago my mother and i did major shopping in ikea.
we bought everything in one go and had them delivered.
all our furnishings were from ikea
bedding, the bathroom, kitchen and the dining room, living room, the beds, etc.

this time my mother and i went to ikea and some other furniture store.
from ikea i purchased a new dining table, new dining chairs, coffee table,
a workstation, an office chair, sofa bed (solsta -- because my sister likes it)
and some other stuff like rugs, place mats, a couple wall clocks, some decor and light fixtures, etc.

the other day, my mother was taking a walk around Western and they have a strip of furniture stores there.
my mother came home exclaiming that she had purchased a new leather sofa.
a couple of hours later she came to me and said that she forgot to tell me that she also bought a full length mirror.
when i went to see her later on, she was looking at a furniture catalog
and was thinking of getting some decorative dividers and japanese style cushions.
i just had to stop her and told her that she was going to drive me crazy & broke.
she agreed and called them to deliver the new stuff (leather sofa and mirror) to our new place.
oh, and she said tnat we can get her dividers and cushions on my next pay check
along with some new drapes and a book shelf...

she wasn't the only one though.
last Sunday i spotted some decorative glass and i felt like i just had to have it
along with more than 4 dozen scented candles...i had my sister help me carry them >_______<
my mother and my sister (who complained the whole time) was not pleased.

the movers we hired will be here around 11am, or was it 1pm??
i have to ask mom about that, it's around 4: 52am now btw.

i shall take new pix once evrything is all set up.
we were told that painting the walls is fine.
i wonder what colors i should paint it though.



most of the stuff from Ikea are still in boxes.
i'll have to work on them tomorrow...



gave up after the first leg was put in.
i need a power drill to screw them in.
my arms hurt like hell after attempting to finish it without one.



maybe i'll start making gfx tutorials :]
there will definitely be lots of fangirling though!!
oh...and office work >______<



now we will have 2 sofas.
my mother wants to have a "poang" chair set.
i might get a couple of those for her for mother's day.
we'll see though if she still likes them by then...



most of you know that i work in the fashion district.
also, most of you know how much if a shopaholic i am.
this is why, i get to have 2 closets all to myself.
along with a couple wardrobes still from our old place.



my mother sleaned up at out new place last Friday.
she used vinegar
we had to open the doors and windows to let the smell dissipate



we'll see if i'll ever get to do some swimming.
most likely my friends and my sisters friends will...



after all the hardwork, i treated them out for dinner!!
we did take-out from 3 different places at K-town.
because we couldn't agree where we wanted to eat.

hmm, that's about it!!
oh and before i forget, i need to call my phone/internet company
and have them move my service to our new place.
so, i won't have internet for probably about a week.
to all those requesting gfx, i hope that you will patiently wait for me!!
to those who have requested gfx, i will get them done as soon as i can.
this month is just so terribly busy that i was unable to fulfill your requests.

because i do check e-mail and everything else.
the only thing i won't be able to really do for awhile is photoshop.
everything else i can do on my cellphone <3
